We have recently completed a significant upgrade to our computer-
based test battery for selecting Administrative employees. As with
all AccuRater tests, our Admin Test Battery is closely based on
work performed on Administrative jobs. Among the skills measured
are basic skills common to most, if not all, Administrative positions,
such as spelling and grammar skills, basic math, sorting and
classifying, basic typing, and basic data entry. In addition, this
battery also measures specialized skills, such as advanced data
entry and database access, word processing, and spreadsheet.
Finally, we think we have developed a unique and powerful way of
measuring higher level Administrative skills, including multitasking,
autonomy and prioritization, resistance to distraction, and
common sense.
