AccuRater develops its work samples based on careful analyses of the target jobs. The "content" of the test resembles the "content" of the jobs. For example, in our Customer Service Representative Tests, the applicant listens to customer requests, solves customer problems, uses a computer keyboard, accesses product and customer databases. Thus, what they do on the test is what they do on the job.

As part of the validation process, we also ensure that the skills required for successful performance on the test are indeed those required for successful performance on the job.
