Although face validity has no scientific or legal standing, it is important. If the fidelity of the test to the job is apparent to the applicants, they will be less likely to challenge your employment decision. It is rare for an applicant, upon completion of an AccuRater work sample employment test, to make comments such as "What does this test have to do with the job I am applying for?"
AccuRater will not release a program until it has been carefully validated. We will document all validation steps and prepare a detailed Technical Report. The format will be per the 1978 Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures.
